Here we go. I’ve always loved Lego and have fond memories of many hours spent in my room when growing up creating and recreating everything from cars to buildings.
Back then, of course, there were no special pieces. No, we were lucky to have “roof” pieces. You know the ones: they were angled and smooth on top and when put together with other would form a “tiled” roof for your buildings. I felt so lucky to have small, clear pieces I could use to make canopies for my aircraft.
But things change.
Imagine my delight when looking for a small Lego set for my youngest, when I came across this baby:
Not only was it a detective’s office, but the barber shop was “Al’s”!
My biggest creation to date – and the build I am most proud of, was a 18″ tall Thunderbird 3. Who else grew up watching that show?
Now, 40 years later, another build begins. I’m so excited.
